Yesterday I picked up Jerome from Newark Airport. Jerome is walking the whole way and comes from France. He is a member of Reseau Sortir du Nucleaire, a French Antinuclear group that walked in Europe with the Footprints for Peace walks. Although very new on the computer, Jerome will post to this blog in French while Mia has offered to post in Japanese.
Jerome also brought a message and prayer from Glenda who walked for Nuclear Disarmament in Europe last year.Written on a card using waste materials, she says March, 2010 May our lives be like this waste to create a focused way forward. From waste to art. May the walk express your creative love and engagement. I walk with you and take the walk message with me to South Africa. May all the tools that we need be there when we need it. Much love, Glenda
